WILL IT FIT?

Planning an unusual load?

Use these rules of thumb before booking a truck.

Oversized furniture (sofas, sectionals)

Most 3-seat sofas (84–96 in) fit through a 20 ft or 26 ft rear door. For anything over 88 in wide, request a 26 ft truck with an 8 ft door opening.

Industrial pallets (48×40 GMA standard)

16 ft holds 6 pallets single-stacked, 20 ft holds 10, 26 ft holds 12 (or 14 pinwheeled). Double-stack only if freight is stackable.

Tall equipment or crates

Interior height maxes at 8 ft 1 in on a 26 ft truck. Anything taller needs a flatbed or step deck — we can broker that too.

Long items (lumber, pipe, ladders)

26 ft interior length fits standard 20 ft material with room to spare. 20 ft trucks handle up to 19 ft loads with the door closed.

Heavy palletized freight

Stay under the payload cap: 4,000 lbs (16 ft) / 6,000 lbs (20 ft) / 10,000 lbs (26 ft). Distribute weight evenly over the axles.
